The Maple Room
Our Maple Room caters for children aged 2 - 3 years and has been set up to allow the children to explore freely. With our resources being more at children's level, this allows ease of access to promote early independence skills and learn about being responsible.
There is a messy area which includes sand, water, play-dough, gloop and a range of malleable and sensory experiences which promotes learning through curiousity, exploration and experimentation.
There is an arts and crafts area which allows children to access a range of mark making and craft experiences which includes painting, collage, junk modelling to name a few.
Imaginative play is carried out by our children in the home area, through telling stories and small world play.

We also have a quieter area in the room for children to access throughout the day, when they want to have time to relax by reading books or having time to themselves in our teepee.
