Nursery Garden
The nursery garden is a shared space for all in the nursery, which allows all ages to mix together reflecting our family values. It is a large space and secure space with a variety of different trees which provide privacy, shade and beautiful colours!
Outdoor access happens throughout the day, from the time our doors open and right up to the end of the day.

Our garden is a natural environment but has it's own dedicated nature area, a rockery, Bug Hotel and a mud kitchen!
We have plots to grow our own, fruit, vegetables and flowers which the children are very much involved in.
We also have construction materials within the garden which children use purposefully for a variety of experiences including, balancing, building, representational and imaginative play.
Through physical play, we aim for children to learn about risk assessment and problem solving and also to build resilience and self-confidence in doing so.

We do try to get out in all weathers so we ask that you provide appropriate clothing for the garden or walks.
Sunny Days: hats that cover their necks, sun cream, sunglasses.
Cold Days: hats, gloves, scarves, rain coats and wellie boots. We definitely recommend all-in-one suits for this age group as they can get very mucky outdoors.
